Congratulations to Organizational Effectiveness Program Manager Kristy Kurtz for earning the April People Powers award! Kristy was nominated by Vice President, Generation Jeremy Browning; EVP and CNO Grover Hettel; and Chief People Officer Elizabeth Ressie.

In their nominations, Kristy was recognized for stepping into a significant leadership role while continuing to manage her regular responsibilities and navigating organizational challenges. All three nominators highlighted her support of JPM’s winter outage recovery and her leadership throughout the root cause analysis process. “Kristy has demonstrated commitment and willingness to be a leader, partner and teammate in the support of JPM’s recovery from the significant winter outage,” Jeremy shared. Grover also praised the quality of her work, noting, “Both root cause evaluations have been of very high quality and will help the organization continue to improve.” 

Elizabeth added, “She persevered, put in the extra time where needed and stayed focused on being as effective and supportive as possible. What stood out most was not just her willingness to step up, but the way she did it — with humility, strong follow-through and a genuine desire to learn and improve.”
