Dairyland Power Cooperative’s partner school, Hintgen Elementary, will benefit from a $5,000 combined donation from Dairyland and President & CEO Brent Ridge. Dairyland donated $2,500 to support an annual Kindness Retreat offered through Youth Frontiers to fourth- and fifth-grade students. The $2,500 Ridge Family donation will support Hintgen’s schoolwide snack fund.

“Dairyland’s continued support creates meaningful opportunities for every Hintgen student while easing costs for families,” said Hintgen Principal Amy Oliver. “These donations will help students build leadership skills, strengthen connections and stay focused on learning. We’re grateful for Dairyland and the Ridge Family’s partnership and commitment to our school community.”

The Kindness Retreat gives fourth- and fifth-grade students an opportunity to build connections, strengthen their sense of belonging and contribute to a positive school community. Our continued support of the snack fund also helps ensure students have access to a nutritious snack during the school day.

Dairyland collaborates with the La Crosse Public Education Foundation on its Adopt-a-School program as Hintgen Elementary’s partner. The Adopt-a-School program matches businesses and community organizations to specific schools in La Crosse.
