Congratulations to IT Enterprise Solutions Architect Vladimir Tsoy; Director, IT Application Services Tom Paulson; IT Project Manager II Ginny Virock and Manager, Distributed Resource Integration Mitch Vanden Langenberg for earning the May People Powers award. The group was nominated by Director, Innovation and Efficient Electrification Jeff Springer for the People Power – Teamwork.

In his nomination, Jeff commends the team for working together to develop an application for member cooperatives to interface directly with next-generation load management devices that are being deployed in the field. “The original quote from our systems vendor was $250,000 and months of work. This team utilized AI tools and internal labor to develop a solution in just a few weeks,” explained Jeff. The project led to a highly functional solution that Dairyland fully owns and controls. “Their willingness to pull together as a team and develop an out-of-the-box solution is inspiring,” Jeff added.
