Dairyland Power Cooperative is rebuilding 50 miles of 69,000-volt (69 kV) transmission line from the Gays MIlls Substation in Crawford County, Wis., to the Lancaster Substation in Grant County, Wis., because the existing line has reached end of life. The project will involve removing the existing line and rebuilding it mostly in existing corridor.
