Sherman Creek Transmission Line / Distribution Substation
Dairyland Power Cooperative is building a half-mile of 69,000-volt (69 kV) transmission line from an interconnection point with an existing Dairyland transmission line located at the intersection of 50th St. and 30th Ave., to a proposed Dunn Energy distribution substation located east and north of 30th Ave., in the Town of Wheaton in Chippewa County, Wis. The new transmission line and substation will increase local electrical distribution capacity and improve system reliability for the cooperative members in this service territory.
