In support of its top priority of Safety, Dairyland has donated a Phillips AED to the Cambridge (Wis.) Fire Department, which serves the RockGen Energy Center. Cambridge Fire Chief Joe Evans is also Dairyland Operations Technician III (Gas Turbine) at RockGen.

Dairyland acquired the 500 MW RockGen natural gas power plant in 2021 to help ensure a safe, reliable power supply for its members. An AED is a portable, automated external defibrillator that automatically diagnoses and treats life threatening cardiac arrhythmias.
