Dairyland has announced leadership promotions focused on the cooperative’s #1 priority of Safety. 

Elizabeth Ressie was named Director of Safety and Human Resources in October, expanding her leadership role in the cooperative. In addition to the Human Resources expertise she brought to Dairyland in January 2020, Ressie has broad experience in safety and training with more than a decade managing multi-site workers compensation and risk mitigation programs and five years of experience developing and implementing site safety training. In 2014, she received national recognition in Risk & Insurance Magazine, with a cover feature detailing her “All Star” safety and risk management accomplishments.

Under Ressie’s leadership, Dairyland has named Ryan Kenealy Manager, Corporate & Field Safety. Kenealy joined Dairyland in May of this year as Safety Program Manager. He will be responsible for the development and implementation of safety education, training and accident prevention programs for Dairyland’s corporate and field teams. He will also be continuously monitoring and adapting safety procedures and operations to ensure a fully compliant work environment for employees while continuing to champion Human Performance Tools.

Kenealy was previously employed by ComEd as Key Manager of Methods & Electric Operations Training where he built and executed strategic training plans to support overhead, underground, substation, transmission, network high rise & meter services. His background also includes collaborating with leadership in Bargaining Unit, Operations to deliver best on record Safety Performance through aligning and focusing on culture, values and leading indicators.
