Dairyland Power has donated a total of $10,000 to the Alma (Wis.) Little League in support of improvements to the community baseball field. Dairyland Power contributed $5,000, which was then matched in full by CoBank, a national cooperative bank, through CoBank’s Sharing Success program.

The donation is funding improvements such as a tall backstop fence and protective fencing in front of the dugouts, as well as new lighting poles.

“Safety is our highest priority at Dairyland, which includes employee and public safety,” said Dairyland Manager, Alma Site, Brian Treadway. “The improvements to the Alma ball field are a ‘homerun’ since they benefit game safety and enjoyment for both players and fans.”
