Dairyland has donated a total of $2,000 to the Veterans Memorial Pool campaign in support of the new aquatic complex located adjacent to UW-La Crosse. Dairyland contributed $1,000 which was then matched in full by CoBank, a national cooperative bank, through CoBank’s Sharing Success program.

"It is great to see a longstanding community resource remade into an inclusive, sustainable recreational site for the public," said Brian Rude, Vice President, External and Member Relations. "We are pleased to contribute towards the all-abilities pool, which will be used and enjoyed by thousands of La Crosse area community members."

Significant renovation has transitioned the aging pool complex, which was built as La Crosse’s first public pool in 1938, into a neighborhood aquatic center welcoming to all ages and abilities. Veterans Memorial Pool is a collaborative project between the City of La Crosse and La Crosse Neighborhoods, Inc. For more information, see memorialpool.org.
