Employees are our greatest asset and as part of our People First initiative, we want to recognize the people behind the power. Our employees are a major factor in Dairyland being a Great Place to Work and a sustainable and reliable power provider. The employee spotlight series features an employee each month, shining a spotlight on their interests and what it’s like to be a part of the Dairyland team.

Right of Way Agent - Senior
What is your job and what do you like most about it?
Right of Way Agents work with land records and handle coordination between property owners and project teams. I enjoy the cooperative and collaborative work environment and doing what I can to support the field crews and line designers who help keep the lights on.
What makes Dairyland a great place to work?
Loads of support from knowledgeable coworkers who are really great about taking time to answer questions and share their experiences.
What led you to work in this field?
My family operated a small land surveying office. I grew up reading deeds and easements, measuring and mapping. Our family office completed numerous site and centerline surveys for Dairyland, and I was fortunate to have an opportunity to join Dairyland’s Real Estate and Right of Way team in late 2014.
Life outside of work. Tell us about your favorite things.
I live in De Soto, Wis., with my husband, one teenage daughter and numerous pets (reptiles and fish). During my free time, my husband enjoys automotive projects, our daughter draws and paints and I like day hikes.
