What do you like most about your job?
I am an operator on a Transmission Construction crew and have been employed at Dairyland for 15 years. The opportunity to safely run a wide variety of equipment and work outdoors in the summer are some things I like about this job.

What makes Dairyland a great place to work?
We are taken care of and have a great work schedule.

What led you to work in this field?
I have always worked in the construction field and when a friend told me about an opening at Dairyland, I decided to apply. I never worked in power line construction before and I thought to try something different.

Life outside of work. Tell us about your favorite things.
Outside of work, I have a wife and four kids. We keep busy with ball games, camping, boating, skiing and the list goes on. One of my favorite things is our family vacation each year where we go somewhere different for a couple of weeks.

What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
The best piece of advice I've been given is to, “Do it right or don't do it at all.”

What’s on your bucket list?
Move to warmer weather someday.

What is your dream vacation?
A tropical island getaway.

What do you want to be celebrating in 5 years?
Hopefully, retirement!
