Dairyland’s focus on supporting the communities where we do business is a priority at the start, middle and finish of every year. 

As part of Dairyland’s mission to improve the quality of life for cooperative members, Dairyland’s Contributions Committee manages an annual budget of charitable funds to be donated throughout the year. The committee meets monthly to review requests and make decisions on whether requests meet Dairyland’s guidelines. 

Recent donations approved by the Contributions Committee include:

  • Aptiv: Serving people with disabilities, Aptiv provides access to jobs, health care, food, education and housing. Dairyland’s donation will help people in our communities receive the care they need and deserve.  
  • Coulee Recovery Center: Helping individuals and families recover from addiction, the Coulee Recovery Center provides confidential help to those impacted and leads the community in prevention, education and awareness. Dairyland’s donation will make the difference in the lives of many and help meet the needs of the organization as a result of the pandemic. 
  • Living Faith Food Pantry: Addressing the food insecurity needs of the Viroqua area for 25 years, the Living Faith Food Pantry distributes 6,000 lbs. of food each week to 160 area households. Dairyland’s donation to their Operation Fund will support their purchasing power through partner agency food sources. 
  • New Horizons: The Galentine’s Day Brunch celebrates love and friendship for the benefit of New Horizons Shelter and Outreach Centers. Dairyland’s sponsorship will help survivors of abuse reach needed services and help cover the cost of outreach centers and emergency shelters. 

Contributions support community events, specific projects for charitable organizations or general donations focused in our service territory or areas in which Dairyland employees live. Organizations are mainly non-profits and donations are targeted towards organizations and services that focus on community service, education, environmental stewardship or emergency and community crisis funds.
