Congratulations to Manager, Total Rewards Amy Haakenson for earning Dairyland's November 2024 People Powers award! Amy was nominated by Benefits & Compensation Specialist Christa Weisenberger for acting with an Own It mindset. (Amy and Christa are pictured with Senior Director, Safety & HR Elizabeth Ressie.)

As part of her justification, Christa called attention to Amy's dedication to the entire Dairyland team. “For some, this time of year may slow down as we gear up for the holidays and enter into a new year," said Christa. "However, for others like Amy, this is the most crucial time of the year in her role. Amy not only leads her team through the open enrollment season but also provides invaluable support to Dairyland Power as a whole."

Christa noted that Amy thoroughly evaluates benefit plans to make sure that the best possible options are offered to Dairyland employees, which requires precision and attention to detail. "This is followed by managing RFPs if necessary, preparing materials, configuring the Workday system, working with vendors on rates and materials, preparing communications and presenting open enrollment meetings among many other tasks."

Amy's People First attitude is on display at all times. "Amy handles all of these responsibilities with a smile on her face while still managing to juggle the rest of her workload. Her dedication to Dairyland is truly commendable, and I believe she embodies the spirit and values we strive for in our organization.”

Thank you, Amy, for exemplifying the Own It People Power to the benefit of the entire organization!

Dairyland's People Powers award winners earn the following for their above and beyond work performance: Breakfast with President and CEO Brent Ridge, 5,000 WorkTango points, People Power Award Certificate, apparel item, recipient pin and special recognition at Dairyland’s Annual Meeting.
