Dairyland has donated a total of $10,000 to the Town of Flambeau (Wis.) in support of road improvements. Dairyland contributed $5,000, which was then matched in full by CoBank, a national cooperative bank, through CoBank’s Sharing Success program.

The donation is helping fund the Town of Flambeau’s repaving of Community Park Road, which leads to the entrance of Rusk County’s Community Park. Community Park is located on the Dairyland Reservoir (Lake Flambeau) near Ladysmith, Wis., and is the site of one of the Reservoir’s boat landings. Previously, the entrance road to the park was comprised of crushed rock and was in a condition that deterred some boaters from using the landing. The donation supports blacktopping Community Park Road, which should increase use of the park and landings.
