Dairyland is pleased to announce the hire of Nathaniel “Nate” Melby to the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective Feb. 29.

As CIO, Melby will be responsible for all aspects of Dairyland’s information technology and systems. He will provide leadership for the development and implementation of information technology initiatives that advance business strategies. A native of the La Crosse area, Melby holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from UW-La Crosse, an MBA from UW-Whitewater and a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University.

Prior to joining Dairyland, Melby served as Director, Enterprise IT Security & Compliance, at Ingersoll Rand in La Crosse. A dedicated member of the La Crosse area community, Melby also serves as the Town of Campbell Fire Chief.
