Through the La Crosse Public Education Foundation’s (LPEF) Adopt-a-School program, Dairyland has partnered with Hintgen Elementary. The Adopt-a-School program matches businesses and community organizations to specific schools in La Crosse.

The overall program goals of Adopt-a-School are to promote community understanding and support of La Crosse public schools, improve student success and address needs specifically identified by the schools.

As part of its support, Dairyland donated $2,000 to help fund snacks for the students. Food insecurity is a serious and growing problem in our area communities, impacting many schools including Hintgen. A growing number of children depend on the meals and snacks they receive at school.
