George “Butch” Miller has been named Dairyland Power Cooperative’s Alma (Wis.) Site Manager, effective July 10. Dairyland's John P. Madgett (JPM) Station is located at the Alma Site.

Miller joined Dairyland in July 1996 and most recently served as Manager, Maintenance at JPM. Miller holds an Associate of Applied Science-Biomedical Electronics from Western Technical College, a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration, both from Viterbo University.

In his new role, Miller will have oversight of JPM’s management and operations, ensuring safe operations while driving the efficient and cost-effective use of numerous resources. He will provide leadership and direction to ensure compliance with safety, operational, budgetary, environmental, sustainability, regulatory and reliability requirements.
