Dairyland has donated a total of $15,000 to the La Crosse Area Emergency Response Fund. Dairyland contributed $10,000, which was matched at $5,000 by CoBank, a national cooperative bank, through CoBank’s Sharing Success program.

The La Crosse Area Emergency Response Fund was created by the La Crosse Community Foundation and Great Rivers United Way. It provides flexible and rapid resources for charitable organizations working with communities that are disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. The fund is designed to complement the work of public health officials.

“The COVID-19 pandemic is a worldwide crisis with huge local impacts,” said Rob Palmberg, Dairyland Vice President, External and Member Relations. “Dairyland’s donation to the emergency response fund will increase the deployment of resources to reach those working the front lines of this crisis. As a cooperative, it is our responsibility and our privilege to provide relief to local community members.”
