Dairyland Power is pleased to announce the promotion of Ben Porath to the position of Vice President, Power Delivery, effective Feb. 2. He succeeds Chuck Callies who is retiring on April 2 after 24 years of service to Dairyland.

“Ben possesses a skill set that combines strategic thinking and the technical expertise needed to be a leader in our complex electric utility industry,” said Barb Nick, President and CEO. “I am confident that Ben will be a strong member of Dairyland’s leadership team as we safely and reliably serve our members’ future needs.”

As Vice President, Power Delivery, Porath will be responsible for system operations and energy delivery, business continuity and compliance. Porath joined Dairyland as a Transmission Strategist on Sept. 22, 2003. He was promoted to Director, System Operations, in 2007.
