Dairyland Government Relations Manager Jennifer Shilling has been appointed to Gov. Evers’ Task Force on Broadband Access. The Broadband Task Force advises Gov. Evers and the Wisconsin State Legislature on broadband actions and policy, including strategies for successfully expanding affordable high speed internet access for all communities in the state.

Members include elected officials and a variety of representatives from industry, business and education. Shannon Clark, President & CEO of Richland Electric Cooperative (a Dairyland member co-op) also serves on the Broadband Task Force. It is chaired by Brittany Beyer, Executive Director for Grow North Regional Economic Development Corporation.

Dairyland’s five-year fiber deployment project to boost broadband access and reliable communications in its member cooperative service territory is a key strategic initiative.
