A crew of 15 Dairyland employees traveled to Worcester, Mass., over the Aug. 21 weekend, eager to provide power restoration support in expectation of Hurricane Henri’s landfall in the New England region. 

The hurricane prediction was revised to Tropical Storm Henri, with the positive news that impacts would be less dire than originally estimated. Upon arrival, Dairyland's crew was notified that the regional utility, National Grid, fortunately did not experience transmission outages requiring additional crew assistance. The Dairyland crew was released on Aug. 23 to travel back to Wisconsin. 

In addition to lineworker, mechanic and safety crew members, Dairyland had readied trucks and equipment.
