Congratulations to Vice President & CIO Nate Melby on being named a finalist for the 2025 National CIO of the Year ORBIE Award in the Nonprofit/Public Sector category. The ORBIE awards recognize CIOs who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership.

Finalists and winners are selected through an independent peer review process, led by prior ORBIE recipients. Decisions are based upon leadership and management effectiveness, business value created by technology innovation and cybersecurity, and engagement in industry and community endeavors. Winners will be announced in August at a reception in New York City.

In 2024, Nate won the Wisconsin CIO of the Year ORBIE® award in the Large Corporate category, in which he was also nominated in 2023.

Nate joined Dairyland in 2016. As CIO, he is responsible for leading the strategy, development and implementation of information technology initiatives and systems to advance Dairyland’s business and operations strategies. Click here for Nate's biography.
