Tamarack Substation Tap Line

Dairyland Power Cooperative is building a one-mile, double-circuited 69,000-volt transmission line from an interconnection point on Dairyland's existing Centerville-to-Independence transmission line. The purpose of the transmission line is to deliver electricity to Riverland Energy Cooperative's new Tamarack Distribution Substation, which will be located on Trowbridge Lane in Trempealeau County, Wis. The new transmission line and substation will increase local distribution capacity and improve system reliability for Riverland Energy cooperative members in this service territory.
